Manning and Wilson Face Off

Once a year, two NFL teams go head–to–head to compete for the title of being the best in the league. This year on February 2nd, the legendary Denver Broncos will face the fierce Seattle Seahawks in New York at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.Peyton Manning, the Broncos’ two year quarterback, has one Superbowl win and has been in the NFL for 16 years. He led the Broncos this season to end with a 13–3 record. On Sunday, January 19th, the Broncos punished Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, taking home a 23–10 win and a chance to win Superbowl XLVIII.
Russell Wilson, the Seahawks’ two year rookie quarterback, has no Superbowl wins under his belt and has been in the NFL for a mere two years. He took this season by storm and the Seahawks finished with a 13–3 record. On Sunday, January 19th, the Seahawks unleashed the beast on Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers, who were favored to win, capturing a 23–17 win. The Seahawks have only had one chance at a Superbowl win in 2006 and lost. Because of Kaepernick’s six interceptions and three turnovers, the Seahawks now have a chance to redeem themselves. Wilson says, "Why not us?"Who shall prevail? Will it be 37-year-old legend Peyton Manning, an eternal king to football? Or will it be the 25-year-old rookie Russell Wilson, an icon in the making? Tune in this weekend to find out!
